Scribefire. . .more like. . .Poopfire

Scribefire, a very excellent blogging tool I’ve been using for some time seems to have borked when it comes to interacting with WordPress.  Spent most of the afternoon, as well as the past few hours searching for a solution.  Keep getting the error:

“The server returned a malformed response.  Please check that your blog and API URLs are correct.”

So yes.  That’s annoying, as one of the nicer feature of Scribefire was the ability to post entries to multiple sites simultaneously.  Looks like I’ll have to bug Phil to give me a hand with this one.  I’ll likely be buying a few books on beginners web dev, so if you have any suggestions, they’d be appreciated.

Hello World.

I’ve decided to start this site for a few reasons.

  • I wanted to finally snag my own domain
  • I’m finding that LiveJournal really doesn’t do it for me
  • I want to play around with some web dev stuff
  • All the cool kids have their own website

So this is where I’ll be posting most of the time now.  I’ve been writing more often with actual content, rather than my old “oh woe is me” rants on LiveJournal.  Here’s where I’ll be throwing up photos, rants, commentary on news and entertainment, with a healthy sprinkling of puns throughout.

Some things may wind up being double-posted to both ToC and my LiveJournal, as I know some folks solely follow my goings-on through it.

Enjoy.
